Orientation Week

The support doesn’t stop after AC Day 1. During the first week of the term, there are a variety of activities and support booths ready to welcome you and get you set up for success at Algonquin College.

Wednesday, Sept. 9 Activities

AC Card and U-Pass Service Centre – 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

New students who require their AC Card and U-Pass can submit their photo for their card at acphoto.algonquincollege.com. Once a photo has been submitted and approved, students can pick up their card from the Card Services Centre. Please note, you must submit photo first at acphoto.algonquincollege.com and wait for approval email with instructions to pick up card*
Location: Marketplace Food Court (D Building)

ITS Network Support Drop-In Booths – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Get on-the-spot tech support for connecting to the college’s Wifi, downloading software, accessing ACSIS and Brightspace, and more!

Booth Locations: H Building (next to Savoir Fare) and C Building (next to Nawapon)

Spin To Win! – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Learn about the Library and Student Learning Centre services available to support your success at Algonquin College. Answer a few quick true-or-false questions, discover helpful resources, and earn chances to spin the prize wheel for exciting giveaways. Whether you’re new to campus or looking to learn more about the support available to you, this is a fun and easy way to explore student services and win prizes along the way!
