Alex Leung is a Principal at GRC Architects with 30 years of experience. He is a registered architect in Ontario, Manitoba, and New Brunswick, and brings innovative design excellence and proven management skills to his clients. Projects for Algonquin College, Carleton University, the National Capital Commission, the City of Ottawa, Ottawa School Boards, and the Department of National Defense are an integral part of his portfolio. He also designed the first LEED Certified building in Ottawa, a project that reflects Leung’s belief in the fundamentals of sustainable practice. Other projects include T-Building at Algonquin, Canal Engineering Building at Carleton, Mattawa Plains Compound for the Department of National Defence, New Brunswick Museum, and the Canadian War Museum. Leung holds a Diploma of Building Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture degree with distinction from Carleton. He is a sought-after guest lecturer. Leung sits on two PACs at Algonquin College. “I have always valued the College’s commitment to engage the professional sector’s opinions and viewpoints.
