Professional Training Courses and Programs
Employee Professional Development with AC Professional Training
AC Professional Training offers virtual professional development courses for individuals and teams already in the workforce.
College employees are eligible to enroll in Professional Training courses for free*. Build your career by taking advantage of courses in project management, business analysis, change management, written communications, conflict resolution, Excel, Copilot, and more.
*Employees can join only guaranteed-to-run courses where there is space in the class. They must cover any third-party costs such as text books and exams.
Note: The Fundamentals of Leadership Certificate program is excluded from this offer. Other courses excluded from this offer are all French as a Second Language courses, and all HCRA Construction courses and exams.
Process for Employee Registration
- Call 613-727-7729 or email training@algonquincollege.com and note the course you wish to register for. A Learning Consultant will help determine if there is space in the class for an employee (paying clients take priority) and if there are any third party costs associated with the course.
- Complete the Course Registration Form and obtain your Manager’s approval and signature. Email your completed form to training@algonquincollege.com.
- You will receive an email confirmation that you have enrolled in the course, and in advance of the start date, you will receive details to help you prepare for the course.
- To withdraw or reschedule, please email training@algonquincollege.com at least 10 days prior to the course date.

Fees apply to programs which include third party costs, such as examinations, materials, and certifications. These currently include:
