Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Perform dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, root planing, polishing teeth, fluoride treatments, pit and fissure sealants
– Take dental x-rays including panorex and ceph as needed
– Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral care instructions
– Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal assessments
– Maintain a sterile working environment
– Document patient treatment records accurately and maintain confidentiality of patient information
– Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized dental office
Requirements:
– Valid dental hygiene license and in good standing with the CDHO
– Knowledge of dental office systems and procedures
– Proficiency in dental software such as Abel Dent
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
– Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
