Location: The Moose on Round Lake at 3735 Round Lake Rd, Killaloe, ON K0J 2A0, Canada
Hourly Rate: $19.00 – $22.00/ hourly, commensurate with experience.
About Us: The Moose on Round Lake is a new, Italian inspired, cottage country (close to) lakeside restaurant located in the Bonnechere Valley.

Job Description:
We are seeking personable and energetic food runners to join our team in delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidates will have passion for great food and are eager to learn in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a food runner, you will be responsible for interacting with the chef and kitchen as well as the FOH staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting with order delivery and completion from the kitchen to the appropriate tables, ensuring timely service and accuracy while practising friendly customer service.
– Maintaining cleanliness of your station in addition to the dining area, keeping it neat and tidy by clearing tables, and assisting with cleaning tasks.
– Communication with the kitchen and chef in regards to any important modifications or requests from customers.
Skills & Qualifications:
– Relevant restaurant experience or eager to learn
– The ability to multi-task and stay organized.
– Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
– Good communication skills.
– Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality service
Experience:
– A minimum of one year in the restaurant industry but we are willing to train those eager to learn.
Licence/Certification:
– Smart Serve (preferred)
– Food Handler Certification (preferred)
Ability to commute/relocate:
– Killaloe, ON K0J 2A0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
