Killaloe Wood Products is a family-owned business rooted in the forestry industry since 1986, supplying mulch and wood based growing media across Ontario in wholesale quantities. We’re known for being reliable, and practical, with a strong focus on long-term relationships. Our team takes pride in doing solid work and supporting local industries that depend on consistent, quality materials. Our main yard is located south of Eganville, at 30633 Highway 41.
We are looking for a dependable Office & Inside Sales Support person to join our team. This is an on-site position with a planned 2-month winter layoff. Hours will be scheduled within our regular business hours (Mon–Thurs 7:00am –3:30 pm, Fri 7:00–12:00). We will work with the successful candidate to set a schedule of 25–30 hours per week over 4 days. Pay range is $22-$24/hour.
Responsibilities include:
• Preparing and sending customer invoices
• Answering customer phone calls and emails
• Sending pricing, quotes, and product information
• Coordinating deliveries and follow-up calls
• Organizing paperwork, lab results, and customer files, office
• Assisting with soil/media testing coordination and sharing results
• Organizing data and office tracking (Excel/Google Docs)
We’re looking for someone who:
• Communicates clearly and professionally
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Is organized and detail-oriented
• Is comfortable with Excel, Google Workspace
• Is comfortable pitching in where needed
• Enjoys working in a small, hands-on team environment
