Responsibilities
Climb trees to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks safely and efficiently.
Utilize rigging techniques and bucket trucks/lifts to manage branches and debris.
Conduct landscape maintenance and horticultural assessments to ensure tree health.
Drive to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a valid driving license.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively in both English and French to enhance operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
2+ years of experience climbing trees.
Knowledge of ropes, knots, rigging, climbing, and tree cutting practices.
High regard for safety.
Passion & motivation to work with trees.
Confident with heights & ability to work safely in both climbing & machinery such as lifts.
Self motivated & ability to manage time effectively.
Strong leadership skills are considered an asset.
Professional & respectful to all team members, clients, and properties.
Physically capable of lifting heavy objects safely & ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to maintain arborist equipment considered an asset.
Interest in green initiatives.
High school diploma or equivalent. Post secondary education preferred.
Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
Valid driver’s license and great driving record is preferred.
