Own It! is a campaign to make you aware. Aware that your success is YOURS to own – and well within YOUR reach! And, just like owning anything – like a cell phone, a car, or an expensive pair of shoes – as the owner, you must look after it. Maintain it. Invest in it.
To look after things that you own, you need the right tools. Like a case for your cell phone or the proper headlights for your car or protective cleaner for those fancy shoes! For your overall success (in school, in your career, or at life in general), here are four tools you can use to develop your skillset as you go along in life:
- Resiliency
- Problem Solving
- Adapt to Change
- Self-Advocacy
The Own It! campaign, using these four tools, can help you get through challenging situations.
You will experience hard things in school, in your career and in every-day life. However, you also have tremendous power (and responsibility) to turn something hard into something rewarding.
