PPSI Students Participate in Second Annual Community Event 9 Run Run

On Saturday, October 22, 2011 students from the Police and Public Safety Institute participated in the second annual Ottawa Emergency Services 9 Run Run. Students ran the 10 km event.

Lisa Gerrard, a Faculty memberwithin Algonquin College’s Police Foundations program, saw this event as a great opportunity for students to support a community event, challenge themselves physically, and make connections with students they may not have met otherwise.

Funds raised from the event will go to the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health.
