We are proud to nominate Theresa Radmore for The Presidents star award. During her 20 years at the College Theresa has applied the colleges values of Caring, Learning, Integrity and Respect with a smile every day. She has helped new students and staff members alike find their way when lost, going as far as putting down her work and walking them directly to their destination. During the Christmas season we called for her helped to obtain a ladder for us. Theresa ran all the way to another building to retrieve it and wouldn’t even hear of having someone lend her a hand. She then went the extra mile and brought it back even though we had offered to do that ourselves. Every time that we have asked Theresa for help, even when it was not a part of job description she would be there with a cheerful demeanor and without hesitation. She is someone you can always count on no matter what the hour or the task required.
Another special gift that Theresa has given us are her talented art projects. Theresa has taken some art courses at the College and in another way to make people smile which she is always trying to do with her kind and caring approach, she painted several oil paintings for various staff members throughout the College. Many of those paintings were specific items or prints that people cherished and having taken note of that, Theresa went on to bring their favorite pieces to life with her brush. Some of those paintings can still be seen in the Registrar’s office and in personal homes today.
These are just some of the reasons that we feel that Theresa would be a great candidate for this award. We’re confident that are many more positive stories out there about ways in which Theresa has made someone else’s day special.
We would you like to thank you for considering Theresa for this award.
