For the past year, I have participated in the Constructing OUR Future Campaign to raise $7 Million for our new Algonquin Centre for Construction Excellence. I have had the privilege to participate in a number of major gift calls and it has been an honour to witness this level of philanthropy take place at the College.

There are many aspects involved in this Capital Campaign which are being managed by the Campaign s Manager Julia Wilson.  One exceptional component took place this week at the Senators Algonquin Construction Night and it was truly amazing.  This event encompassed exemplary public relations components, engagement of donors and prospects, video and game messaging about our programs and most importantly, included invitations and involvement of 400 students from programs affiliated with the new ACCE.  Julia Wilson organized the many details that made the event superb.

I am proud to nominate her for the President s Star for going the extra mile in so many ways throughout this impressive campaign
