Rich Lauzon

Rich Lauzon is a professor in Animation in GAS.

Rich Lauzon always put his students first. He is a fine example of Professor of the 21st Century. Rich goes out of the way to communicate with his students. He sends them an email every Friday afternoon with updates and reminders. He has a sketch night every Tuesday to encourage students to come together in a social environment to draw. Rich takes the time to talk to every student in the long line up outside his door. He encourages them to drop by and they do!

Rich encourages students to enter the program and is conscious of his enrollment numbers.Rich uses modern technology in the classroom using tools such as Abvervison and Camtasia. He makes the effort to familiarize his peers with this technology be doing workshops at Kaleidoscope etc.

I admire Rich Lauzon and believe that he exemplifies a Professor of the 21st Century! He is definitely deserving of the Presidents Star Award!
