Approximately a year ago, the President’s Star Award was introduced to the College where peers recognized peers for exceptional work. Today, it is your turn to be recognized by your peers. Your PEC colleagues have submitted your name to receive this prestigious award and as Chair of the Algonquin College Board of Governors I was honored to second the nomination. Your colleagues spoke of your tireless work ethic, your passion for education, commitment to community and your embodiment of the College values of Caring, Learning, Integrity and Respect. For 17 years, you have led this organization to new heights, serving as a true champion of applied education and training. On- and off-campus, your commitment to Algonquin serves as an example to us all.
