Being a student can be hard. But peer support — being able to speak with someone who “gets it” — is just a click away.

If you ever want a fellow student to talk to who can offer support and connect you with useful resources, the Beacon: Health & Wellness Peer Support Space is here to help guide you. Chat with a trained Algonquin College student peer about mental health, sexual health and sexual violence, and substance use. Support is offered in a one-on-one, drop-in, non-judgmental, confidential, and accessible virtual space.

Students can access this support Monday-Friday, 12pm-5pm.
