Learn every aspect of internet application programming
Students in the Web Development and Internet Applications program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada will make use of their problem-solving and analytical skills to learn the basics of developing Internet applications. Study topics will include internetworking, TCP/IP and TCP/IP services, databases, web development, HTML and other higher-level meta tag markup languages, client- and server-side scripting languages, systems and network security, Internet project management, e-commerce, and middleware products.

Gain practical experience
During the final semester, students will put what they’ve learned into practice with the development of a multi-tiered web application suitable for an Internet/intranet environment. At the culmination of Level 03, students in good academic standing will have the opportunity to participate in two 15-week work terms, before returning to their final level.
