Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) is an annual Algonquin College education campaign designed to help open the eyes of students and employees to the benefits of staying mentally healthy. Join us for a variety of events from January 28 to February 1.

Mental Health Awareness Wheel Game

10am-1pm at Savoir Fare
Stop by for a spin of the mental health awareness wheel, learn about on- and off-campus resources available to you, and grab some free swag!

Hopewell

10am-1pm in J/N Link
Hopewell offers knowledge, support, and hope to those affected by eating disorders. Visit this booth to learn about their services.

Yoga

12:05pm-12:55pm in the Spiritual Centre (E211, 2nd Floor, Student Commons)
Start your week with a relaxing free yoga session! A limited number of mats, blocks, and straps will be provided, or you can bring your own.

AC Purple Couch (Make origami cootie-catchers!)

1pm-4pm at 4 Corners
The AC Purple Couch is a place for starting conversations about mental health. Take a seat, speak your mind, and relax by folding origami cootie-catchers with the Health Promo team!
