New AI General Education Course
In Fall 2026, the School of Creative and Interdisciplinary Studies has launched a new general education elective course DSN2003 – Exploring Artificial Intelligence: Creativity, Impact and Ethics. Through exploration, experimentation and reflection, students will gain the critical perspectives needed to navigate the impact of AI on the creative process.
Amii agreement signed
Algonquin College has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (amii) to become a member of the AI Workforce Readiness Post Secondary Consortium. Stay tuned for training and resources available through Brightspace to support student and faculty AI readiness.
