National Day for Truth and Reconciliation: Medicine Bag Workshop

Join us in recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation through a meaningful, hands-on Medicine Bag Workshop facilitated by Stephanie Tenasco.

During this interactive session, you’ll learn about the significance of the medicine bag in Indigenous traditions while creating your own. Stephanie will share teachings about the medicines traditionally carried within each pouch and their connections to protection, healing, identity, and tradition.

This workshop offers a welcoming space for reflection, learning, and meaningful conversation while deepening your understanding of Indigenous cultures.

What to Expect

Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive early to secure your spot. Open to all Algonquin College students.
