On December 7, 2022, Algonquin College hosted a special cocktail to celebrate its donors and partners. The event highlighted a $500,000 donation by the RBC Foundation to support skilled trades initiatives at the College for five years and help prepare students for rewarding careers.

Jason Blaine, an award-winning country artist and Algonquin College alumnus, made a special musical presentation.
