Doug Vandemheen Legacy Fund

Doug Vandemheen built a successful career in the electrical trade and believed in giving hardworking young people the opportunity to learn, grow and build a future. Known for his generosity, mentorship and support of others, Doug helped people feel valued, respected and encouraged to succeed.

Established by his family in his memory, the Doug Vandemheen Legacy Fund supports Algonquin College students pursuing careers in the electrical skilled trades, helping to reduce financial barriers to education and training.

Through this fund, Doug’s family hopes to carry forward the values he lived by: hard work, perseverance, integrity, commitment and a willingness to help others.
