International Students – Workshops and Boot Camps
Professional Communication for the Job Search
Date: Thursday, May 23, 2024
Time: 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm ET
Location: Online
Join the Co-op and Career Centre to learn strategies for communicating professionally during each stage of the hiring process. This workshop will cover a variety of situations from sending out job applications and scheduling an interview to accepting an offer and more! Students will have an opportunity to practice scripts that will help them develop better communication skills for finding and keeping a job.

Canadian Workplace Expectations

This workshop will cover a variety of topics from understanding company culture to navigating workplace conflict, writing professional correspondence and more! Students with Disabilities – Workshops
Q&A Session for Students and Grads with Disabilities
Date: Tuesday, June 18, 2024
Time: 10:00 am – 11:00 am ET

Join the Co-op and Career Centre for a Questions & Answers Session to learn about some of the common questions asked by students and graduates with disabilities about employment. In this workshop, attendees will learn about helpful tips, resources, and digital tools to support their job search and following a short presentation, will have the opportunity to participate in an open Q&A to ask any additional questions they may have about careers and employment.

Disclosure & Accommodations Workshop
