Does the Co-op office provide and kind of support during placements?

Yes. We schedule site visits halfway through the work term to meet with you and your employer. We also follow up to make sure the goals of you and your employer are being achieved. Your co-op consultant is always available for you to contact throughout your work term for other workplace assistance.


How is my placement graded?

Your grade is based on the employer’s evaluation of your work and on your faculty’s evaluation of your assignments and work term report. You will receive either a Pass or a Fail grade at the end of each co-op placement.



What is the average salary for Co-op positions?

Salary depends on the number of placements you have done, your previous experience and what program you are in. It also depends on the employer and the field. The average salary for co-op position ranges from $14-$16.


When do I have to apply for Co-op positions?
