Important Co-op Dates
Recruiting for your desired semester happens one semester before the students’ work-term. For example, if you are looking for an Algonquin College co-op student for the summer, you will be posting your jobs in the winter term (January to April).
Our recruitment cycle follows specific timelines for posting jobs, interviews and job offers. Please see the below table with important co-op dates for employers looking to hire an Algonquin College co-op student.
Students are typically employed for between 4 and 8 months, however longer work-terms may be available based on student availability and departmental approval.
Fall Work Term (Sept. to Dec.)

Resumes are available to employers on the job closing date. Job offers are presented to students by the Co-op Department on behalf of the employers, in alignment with the job offer timelines.
