How to Navigate Digital Books

Steps to getting your course materials
ONLINE
- Get your Booklist at thecampusstore.ca. Your login is your Algonquin College username & password available on ACSIS.
- Select the term in which you are enrolled.
- If available, you will see the choice of format (print book or digital) at the time of purchase.
- Choose to have your books shipped directly to you or use our free Click & Collect service and pick your books up in-person once notified they are ready.
AC ONLINE STUDENTS
- Using your timetable, if you are an AC Online student, you can find your textbooks by using the Textbook Search by Course.
- Select the term in which you are enrolled.
- If available, you will see the choice of format (print book or digital) at the time of purchase.
- Choose to have your books shipped directly to you.
IN-PERSON
Ottawa
- Get your Booklist at thecampusstore.ca. Your login is your Algonquin College username & password available on ACSIS.
- Head to Connections: The Campus Store, located in the H Building.
- Bookshelves are organized alpha-numerically
by course code. Books can be found on the
shelf above the tag. Search for your course materials or visit the Customer Service desk and present them with your Booklist.
STEPS TO ACCESSING DIGITAL RESOURCES
- ACCESS CODE
After you’ve made your purchase on thecampusstore.ca, you will receive an email containing an licence code that you will then use to access your digital resource(s). If your receipt reads Digital Code you will download your resource(s) directly from a link in Brightspace. If you receive a Publisher Resource Code, your instructor will give you instructions on how to redeem this code to access your publisher resource. In the above two instances, the steps below 2-4 don’t apply. - REGISTER
Register with Texidium by entering your email address, copying the access code from your email and pasting it into the registration form. Complete the form by entering the remaining required information. - INSTALL
Log in to your Texidium account and click on “download apps” to install Texidium. - DOWNLOAD
In the Texidium application, double click the eTextbook to download it to your device for offline use.
