Accessible Resources for Hiring Employers
Algonquin College, along with the other Ottawa post-secondary institutions, was recently involved in an innovative partnership, the David C. Onley Initiative for Employment and Enterprise Development (DCOI) to develop tools to support students with disabilities as they transition into employment. The Onley Initiative also engaged industry, built awareness, and developed resources to support recruiting employers, including tips on understanding disability, building an inclusive workplace, and workplace accommodations.
