Babcock Canada Indigenous Student Award

The $5,000 Babcock Canada Indigenous Student Award for Exemplary Community Service, Leadership and Work Ethic will be awarded annually to one Indigenous student who has demonstrated community service, leadership qualities, and a strong work ethic who is enrolled in one of the following programs, with priority given to students in the Aircraft Maintenance Technician and Aviation Management Programs.

  • Project Management
  • Cyber Security Analysis
  • Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Automation and Robotics)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (Supply Chain Management)
  • Strategic Global Business Management

Application Details

To be considered for this award, you must be enrolled in an eligible program in the Fall 2025, Winter 2026 or upcoming Spring 2026 term.

  1. A letter of support from your respective Indigenous Community, Band or Friendship Center, confirming that you are supported in your efforts to apply for this award.
  2. A personal statement describing your community service, leadership qualities, and strong work ethic.

The Award funds are to be used exclusively for cost-of-living expenses unless you have an unpaid balance on your account. In this case, the scholarship will be used to pay your fees and any remaining credit will be issued directly to the recipient.
