Part-time Students in Ontario

Students who are registered part-time in an OSAP approved program at Algonquin College who are Canadian citizens or landed immigrants and reside in Ontario are eligible for financial aid through the Ontario Student Assistance Programs (OSAP).

Students can also apply for needs-based bursaries at the start of each semester they are registered in their program. Not every student who applies for a bursary will receive one, as there are more applications than there are funds to distribute. Bursaries are allocated according to financial need, based on the same means test that the Ontario Government uses for OSAP decisions. Bursaries are given to recipients and do not need to be repaid.
