Faucet Fix Award For Academic Excellence and Leadership
Awarded to a student in the Algonquin College Plumbing program. Recipient must be a member of the 2012 graduating class, have demonstrated academic achievement (min 90% average). Recipient must also demonstrate leadership qualities such as, but not limited to: camaraderie and respect for peers and faculty members, persistent academic curiosity and passion for the program as well as volunteerism and service to the community.
Furniture Technician Academic Achievement Award
This award is to be presented to a full time student who, in the face of adversity, maintains a high level of academic achievement and positive outlook throughout all three levels of the program.
Refrigeration Service Engineers Society Award
Awarded to the Advanced level apprentice who achieves the highest GPA in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic Apprenticeship program in a given year.
School of Transportation and Building Trades Award
Awarded to a graduating post-secondary student who is anticipate to be an asset to his/her trade and has made a significant contribution to the School by suggesting ideas which improve the program or college life. The student must have attained a grade point average of 3.0 and demonstrated strong technical skills in laboratory projects.
