Presentation Description:

Technologies such as social media and cell phones have transformed our lives. They allow us to connect in ways never possible before, and in many cases have led to an improvement in the quality of our lives.

Despite this however, when technologies are misused, whether purposely or inadvertently, they can cause harm to our relationships. Malicious people can misuse technologies in order to inflict harm on vulnerable people, and there are numerous examples of people killing themselves as a result of cyberbullying, sexting or other online materials.

Technology is like any tool; it has the potential to both help or hinder us. Learn more about how technology affects our mental health and relationships, and how we can ensure that we use it to help us rather than hinder us.
