Technology for Multi-modal Delivery Pilot

Multimodal Classrooms > Technology for Multimodal Delivery Pilot

Two different technology solutions were created for the multimodal delivery pilot:

  1. Multimodal-enabled Classrooms
  2. Mobile Kits – for special circumstances not addressed by new multimodal-enabled classrooms

Learn how to use the multimodal equipment.

Evaluation data from faculty and students will be collected to inform future delivery options.

Types of Classrooms

The pilot includes a few multimodal classroom options in order to test different levels of scalability.

Multimodal-enabled: standard mobile learning classroom with more advanced camera and room audio.
B232, T327

Multimodal-enabled Active Learning Classroom: active learning classroom (e.g. furniture on castors, extra whiteboard space, multiple monitors for wireless screen sharing for faculty and students) with most advanced camera and room audio options.
T232 is only room of this kind.
