OTTAWA, Sept. 13, 2018 — Algonquin College has broken enrolment records this fall, seeing increases across the board for the second year in a row.
“We are early in the term and these numbers are still being finalized, but it’s already clear that we are going to beat all previous records,” said Algonquin College President Cheryl Jensen. “Students are seeing the value of the hands-on learning that we offer, and they know this kind of experiential training leads to fulfilling careers and lifelong success.”
OTTAWA, Sept. 10, 2018 – Living Planet @ Campus, a national program from World Wildlife Fund Canada that was piloted at Algonquin College, is expanding to college and university campuses across the country.

Opportunities to personally lead change during their campus experience and to achieve Living Planet Leader certification will prepare the next wave of decision-makers and practitioners in their fields to contribute to a more sustainable Canada.
Developed in partnership with Algonquin College along with 11 other post-secondary institutions and championed by HP Canada, Living Planet @ Campus was created in collaboration with students as well as campus engagement and sustainability professionals.
