Learners design product and service apps in a flexible, iterative process drawing from the psychology and cognitive science disciplines, as well as software engineering. Learners bring a design to life through a combination of prototyping techniques, styles and tools. Learners build effective prototypes of their designs regardless of artistic talent, access to special software or programming ability. Design guidance and rationale including user interface standards, style guides, design principles and accessibility are examined to improve the user experience.
