A personal trainer's success involves relationship-building, and effective coaching, both requiring practice to gain confidence and professionalism. Students advance their skills by experiencing a real-life client/trainer partnership involving motivational interviewing, fitness testing, client-centred exercise selection and one-on-one training sessions in a supervised environment.
