TRANSITION PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION

Students learn to assist in planning and mediating transitions for children with ASD within and across home, school and community settings. include: Models for effective transition planning, assessment and evaluation are reviewed. Students begin to understand differing perspectives on transitions within and across environments, and how to develop collaborative relationships with parents and professionals. Further, understanding transition practices related to relevant legislation will be examined.
