The World Wide Web (WWW) has become an integrated part of everyday life. In this course students apply technologies and skills needed to design, develop, and test client-server software for the World Wide Web. An introduction to accessible web design, as well as an introduction to HTML5, CSS, and client-side JavaScript as well as server-side JavaScript via Node.js and Express.js is provided. Lectures are reinforced by practical assignments that encourage students to construct, deploy, and maintain their own websites.
