Job Description
If you are interested in a social weekend job that would not to interfere with your studies, and are looking for an opportunity to make some money (tips at every event), this is an excellent opportunity. As a casual caterer, you would be added to our roster of contacts for events such as weddings, corporate events as far as Ottawa (travel is covered – driver’s license not needed but is an asset), outdoor family gatherings, and many other social events. As a caterer, you would be working with an experienced team on the following roles and responsibilities:
Event Setup and Service:
– Transport food, equipment, and supplies to event venues in a timely and organized manner
– Set up serving stations, buffets, and dining areas according to event specifications
– Serve food and beverages to guests, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Customer Interaction:
– Ensure that guests are satisfied with the catering services and address any issues promptly
Team Collaboration:
– Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure smooth coordination and execution of events
Cleanup and Inventory Management:
– Assist with cleanup activities, including clearing tables, packing up leftovers, and returning equipment to the catering facility
