Job Description
Dental Laboratory Assistant
Job description:
-General light cleaning
-All lab functions relating to the fabrication of dentures. Including but not limited to preparing wax bite-blocks and impression trays, plaster models and moulds, Polish and buff dentures, and denture repairs.
-Office administration and reception from time to time (Answering telephone, receiving payments & issuing receipts, scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed)
-Disinfection and preparations of operatories.
-Clinical Chairside assistance when needed.
-Use of digital processes in denture fabrication – scanning of impressions and models, digital print production
-Sterilization of dental tools & implements.
-Be open to learning new techniques and processes.
-Be able to work independently.
-Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
-Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

Requirements:
-Able to legally work in Canada.
-Previous experience as a dental laboratory assistant or in a similar role is an asset.
-Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
-Knowledge of dental anatomy, materials, and techniques
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday
Hours:
35 – 40 per week
Wage:
$19 – $23
