Location: Pembroke, Ontario
Description:
Efficiency First Insulation and Contracting provides above-standard, quality services for residential and commercial building renovations as well as new build projects. We provide the necessary insulation needs by way of spray foam, blown-in fiberglass and cellulose, fiberglass batting, vapor retardants, insulation removal, and much more. We pride ourselves in personal service, superior products, and exceptional customer service. We have been in operation since 2018.
We are currently recruiting for insulation labourer/general labourer. This is a full-time, year-round position. This position is a foundation for further advancement within a growing company.
The mail role of this position will be responsible for assisting the insulation applicators while obtaining hands-on experience in the trade. This work includes:
Preparing the job site for spray foam application
Teardown and clean up of the job site following the application
Assisting with the installation of blown-in insulation and fiberglass batts in both residential and commercial projects
Performing work to all required specifications provided by the supervisors.
Qualifications
We offer full training for this role and for your future with our company. In addition, we are looking for the following:
Willingness to learn proper spray foam applications
Valid driver’s licence
Clean driving record and reliable mode of transportation to work
Good interpersonal communication skills
Good judgment and problem-solving skills
The ability to work independently as well as operate as part of a team
Demonstrate a respectful and professional demeanor
Able to lift up to 50 pounds or over shoulder height
Comfortable working in small spaces, and using ladders and scaffolding
Able to work in seasonal weather conditions
Flexibility to work extended hours
Willing to wear respirators with cartridge filters
Basic knowledge of the insulation business or prior related experience is an asset
