Level Up Your Learning – Preparing for the Spring Semester

The Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) is offering a series of workshops during the week before the Spring 2023 term to help you prepare for your studies. Whether you are starting your first college program or are returning to a program in your final semester, any Algonquin student with a disability can take advantage of these learning opportunities. Each webinar will touch on a different topic, with a focus on learning about ways to enhance your academic skills.

  • Introduction to CAL Services (Tuesday, May 2, from 10am-11am)
  • Learning Strategies – Top Tips for College (Tuesday, May 2, from 1pm-2pm)
  • Time Management – Rock the Clock (Wednesday, May 3, 10am-11am)
  • Assistive Technology at AC (Wednesday, May 3, from 1pm-2pm)
  • Stress Management (Wednesday, May 3, from 2:30pm-3:30pm)
  • Preparing for Campus (Thursday, May 4, 10am-11am)
  • Taking Notes – Tips and Tools (Thursday, May 4, 1pm-2pm)
  • Enhancing Resilience (Thursday, May 4, 2:30pm-3:30pm)

All sessions will be delivered virtually.
