Meet Laura

Laura Stanbra, Vice President Student ServicesLaura assumed the role of Vice President, Student Services in August 2012, with 29 years of post-secondary experience in the fields of student services, development, and alumni relations. Prior to joining the College as Director, Student Support Services in 2011, Laura served in progressively more challenging roles at Concordia University, including University Registrar; Managing Director, Student Services; and Director, Financial Aid and Awards.

Laura brings an understanding of the significance of the holistic student experience, as well as a wealth of experience of working with students, faculty, and staff in support of student engagement and success. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and a Master of Arts, Public Policy & Public Administration, both from Concordia.

As Vice President, Student Services, Laura has overseen the launch the new Co-Curricular Record, continued expansion of online services and the implementation of a new service delivery model in the Student Commons, and is the current Executive Sponsor of the College’s Strategic Enrollment Management Committee.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys running, kayaking, and gardening.
