International Students – Workshops and Boot Camps

Monthly Q&A sessions (Ongoing): International students and graduates are invited to join the Co-op and Employment Support Centre team during our monthly Question & Answer Sessions. During these sessions, we will share helpful tips, resources, and digital tools to support your job search and answer commonly asked questions.

International Employment Boot Camp: Are you ready to take on the Canadian job market? Look no further than the International Employment Boot Camp Series designed specifically for International students and graduates.

Career Readiness Workshops – Resume & Cover Letters, Interviews, Job Search, and LinkedIn profiles (Ongoing): International students are invited to join us for a series of job and career readiness workshops that can help prepare them for the job market by learning about Canadian norms and best practices in employment.

Students with Disabilities – Workshops (Various Dates)

Workshop Series — (Ongoing): Students with Disabilities are invited to join the Employment Support Centre for a series of Career Readiness workshops. If you are looking to learn more about creating a solid resume and cover letter, improving your job search strategies, mastering your interview skills or understanding disclosure and accommodations, please consider attending one or all of the workshops below.

Q&A sessions (Ongoing): Students and graduates with disabilities and are invited to join the Employment Support Centre during our Question & Answer Sessions. During these sessions, our Employment Officers will be sharing helpful tips, resources and digital tools to support your job search and will be answering some of the common questions asked by students with disabilities about employment.

The Career Networking Fair is Algonquin College’s largest on-campus recruitment event for full-time, summer, and co-op positions for students and graduates. The industry focus of this recruitment event is as broad as possible and attracts employers from a range of industries.
