Job Description
The position is open to any student that is returning to school in the fall.
The position is open to all applicants. Interest in joining the trades, or starting an apprenticeship in the future would be considered an asset, but is not mandatory. The position will be for 36-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Applicants must: Provide their own personal protective gear. Provide a tool belt with basic hand tools. Have a good attitude, and contribute positively to team morale. Be able to get to and from work on time, on a daily basis. Must be reliable, and willing to learn. Must be able to follow detailed instructions. Must be able to work as an individual and as part of a team.
Duties will include but may not be limited to:
• General labourer on construction site
• Clean up, moving material, organizing supplies
• Cutting and assembling building components
• Working along side carpenters and other trades
• Shop clean up and organization
• Some grass cutting and trimming
• Working safely completing a number of tasks on a construction site
JOB TERMS: Monday – Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm
