Building Readiness Together: Highlights from the Change Champion Network In-Person Meeting

On May 26, 2026, members of the R3 Project Change Champion Network (CCN) came together in person for an interactive session focused on collaboration, communication, and preparing the College community for the changes ahead.

As Algonquin College continues preparing for the implementation of Thesis Student Management (Thesis SM) and the Thesis Student Portal, Change Champions play an important role in supporting awareness, readiness, and engagement across the College.

Supporting Change Across the College

The CCN helps connect project information with teams across the College while creating opportunities for two-way communication. Through ongoing engagement, feedback, knowledge-sharing, and peer support, Change Champions help ensure employees feel informed and prepared while bringing forward important questions and perspectives from their areas.

Collaboration, Conversation, and Readiness

During the session, participants connected with colleagues from across the College and took part in activities designed to strengthen their understanding of upcoming changes and explore how best to support teams through transition.

These discussions created space for meaningful dialogue, questions, and shared learning; all important components in helping prepare the College community for the implementation of Thesis SM and the Thesis Student Portal.
