Training is Coming: Here’s how you can get ready

The R3 Project is almost ready to launch training for the new Student Information System (SIS), Thesis SM, and the accompanying Student Portal. There is no specific date as of right now. However, expect to receive training in Fall 2026. More information will come from your People Leaders before then.

In the meantime, here is everything you need to know about training. That way, you will be fully prepared and ready to jump in once the time comes!

Who is involved in Training?

There are four audiences for Training:

Core Users: Individuals who learn and perform complex business processes, create new data, and create new reports. Types of Core Users include the Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid and Student Awards, and ITS.

• General Users: Individuals who perform specific tasks, review reports, and look up student information. Types of General Users include Program Coordinators, Student Success Specialists, and the Recruitment Office.

• Employee Groups supporting Learners’ use of the Portal: This group includes employees who work directly with learners.

• Learners: Both new and returning learners will have access to Thesis Student Portal training.

In many cases, individuals will be part of more than one group and will have access to the designated training.

How is Training delivered?
