Doreen is an Associate Partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP with over 19 years of experience providing assurance and advisory services to clients.   She is the functional service line leader for Deloitte’s Public Sector Group in the National Capital Region and has spent the past 15 years specializing in providing services to public sector organizations. She is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars with regards to financial reporting and auditing issues faced by Public Sector Organizations.

Doreen is actively involved as a Board Member and Treasurer for not-for-profit boards.  She is currently the Chair of the Finance Committee of the Shepherds of Good Hope and has been the Treasurer for the past 9 years.  She is also the Treasurer and Founding Member of the Shepherds of Good Hope Foundation. Doreen is a past director with the Emily Murphy Non-Profit Housing Corporation, where she served for 5 years as the Treasurer.  Doreen and her husband are also actively involved with the parent committees of the local schools that their 9 and 6 year old sons attend.

Doreen holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University and is a Chartered Accountant.  She was appointed to the Board in 2010 for a two-year term and will serve as the Chair of the Audit Committee beginning in September, 2011.
