Welcome to Algonquin College in the Ottawa Valley! 

Our Campus is located in the City of Pembroke, approximately 140 km. northwest of downtown Ottawa.  We're surrounded by beautiful countryside, forests, lakes and rivers--the perfect location for some of the most exhilarating outdoor programs on earth.  We also offer a wide variety of full and part-time programs in Business, Technology, Health, and Community Studies.

girl kayak TUITION FEES DUE DATE IS JULY 15, 2008. 
A reminder to all new and returning students that tuition fees for the fall semester are due on July 15, 2008. For more information contact the Fees Department at 613-735-4700, ext. 2702 or Financial Aid at 613-735-4700, ext. 2709. Students who are eligible for OSAP can defer fees. Here is the link to the student portal ACSIS where you can pay fees, order transcripts, check marks, timetables, etc.

Have you registered yet? The University of Ottawa has special web pages for new students and returning students--check out the links for the registration process, assistance and other essential information.  IMPORTANT: Before registering, make sure you follow the Course Sequence for your year and location to ensure you are registered in the correct course and section number.  UPCOMING NEWS: All new and returning BScN students coming to the Pembroke Campus should check the special Nursing News page on this website. We will be posting your timetables, booklists, and other information as it becomes available.

3 at computerFREE Evening or Day Classes for Students Returning to College
If you are returning to college this fall and want to improve your English, math or computer skills, we can help you prepare with our Jump Start program. Starting in August, students registered to attend a full-time program can take special courses that will help you succeed in your college studies. For more information contact Shelly Waplington at 613-735-4700, ext. 2803 or fill out and send in your Registration Form today.


honorary diploma CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES! 
Best wishes to all graduates who were celebrated at our Convocation ceremony at the Pembroke Memorial Centre.  It was an historic day for our campus as we awarded our first Honorary Diploma to long-time Renfrew County provincial member of parliament, Sean Conway. In his address to the graduates, Mr. Conway stated: "You are entering the best labour market in the past 50 years".  A DVD of the entire graduation ceremony is available through the college by calling 613-735-4700, ext. 2702, or emailing Brenda Chartrand at chartrb@algonquincollege.com.
