Eric Agyemang

Eric Agyemang

Eric Agyemang is a third-year student in the Business Administration program, specializing in International Business. Since his first semester, he has been actively involved in representing his fellow Algonquin students on the School of Business’ Program Council and the SA Student Forum. Mr. Agyemang was also the President of the International Students’ Association (ISA) of the college.  Over the years, he has shown great dedication, drive and true commitment in his efforts to involve and engage students, as well as promoting student success and multiculturalism. It is his outgoing, professional and approachable nature that has helped him facilitate a vibrant social network for international students while ensuring that the entire student body has a stronger voice on campus.

As a member of Canada’s Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), Mr. Agyemang is also working toward becoming a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) – the top professional accreditation for international business and trade professionals in the country. As a young business professional, Mr. Agyemang has extensive managerial and entrepreneurial experience working with many international non-profit organizations and corporations in Canada, the Republic of Ireland and Ghana.

Mr. Agyemang was elected by the student body to serve as the Student Governor on the Board for the 2011 – 2012 academic year.
