John Scott, Masonry—Heritage and Traditional Professor, Andrea Cross and the DSWA Board of Directors (which includes Masonry—Heritage and Traditional graduates John Bland, Kenny Davies and Andre Lemieux) organized the festival, which showcased the centuries-old dry stone walls of Amherst Island. Several Masonry—Heritage and Traditional students and graduates participated in the event, which was covered on an episode of the Rick Mercer Report.
