Types of Binding
Perfect Binding
A binding process where single sheets are stacked together, the binding edge is ground to create a rough surface, and adhesive is applied. A cover is then wrapped around the pages.
Cerlox
A method of securing loose pages using a plastic comb with teeth that fit into holes in the paper.
Coil
A method of securing loose pages using a plastic spiral coil.
Cover Bind
Technology that produces bound documents with the book-like appearance of commercial perfect binding simply and quickly. Cover Bind is available in one size: 8.5"x11". Three spine sizes to choose from
1/16" (1-15 sheets), 1/8" (16-30 sheets), 1/4" (31-60 sheets). Three colours to choose from: Green,
Black, Blue.
Book Tape
A binding process where tape joins two panels at the spine, thereby securing loose pages. Can be used for books, manuals, catalogues, etc.
