Safer Prescription Drug Use

The purpose of this project is to raise awareness and educate Algonquin College (AC) students about safer use of prescription medications that may or may not be prescribed to them. We collaborated with the Umbrella Project team from Algonquin College Health and Wellness center to address the gap of knowledge in types of medications that are likely to be misused, side effects related to these medications, and safety measures to take when experiencing severe side effects.
